The Mixed Beasty Box is a "nose to tail" butchery box. We source locally produced meat from small scale farms like our own that practice sustainable farming methods. Animals are naturally and ethically raised without antibiotics or hormones in an environment that allows them to express their unique physiological distinctness. We bring in whole animals and use every part of them. You get beautiful prime cuts & smoked meats of course but we use the fat, bones & offal too. Stock is the start of some amazing soups & stews but can also be used to steam veggies, deglaze pans to make sauces & gravy, or mash potatoes with it. Offal is transformed into a delicious, rich terrine/pate. The actual contents of the Mixed Beasty Box may vary slightly due to the fact that animals do not grow in perfectly uniform sizes but the value of your box will always be more than $150.
