The Mixed Beasty Box is a "nose to tail" butchery box. We source locally produced meat from small scale farms like our own that practice sustainable farming methods. Animals are naturally and ethically raised without antibiotics or hormones in an environment that allows them to express their unique physiological distinctness. We bring in whole animals and use every part of them. Stock & broth is the start of some amazing soups & stews but can also be used to steam veggies, deglaze pans to make sauces & gravy, cook rice, grains & pulses with it or add it to mashed potatoes. The actual contents of the Mixed Beasty Box will vary due to the fact that animals do not grow in perfectly uniform sizes and different cuts have different values (ie: ribeye steaks vs. flat iron steaks) but the value of your box will always be at least $150.
