Earth Day at The River District

1-3: A Celebration of Local Food: Bring the family down to The River District to meet local urban farmers, shop for early season produce, eggs, seedlings, and preserves, meet some friendly farmyard animals, and participate in activities for the kids. 

3-5: screening of locally produced film "The Clean Bin Project. " 

Come early and enjoy a bike ride or walk along the boardwalk and trails along the river. Treat yourselves to lunch at Romers Burger Bar on the waterfront where you can choose from a whole menu of locally sourced, sustainable meal choices. Then head next door to River District Centre to join in our celebration!
